Four ways to save and check off those New Year’s resolutions

There are several New Year’s resolutions that show up on many people’s lists: lose weight, fall in love, find a new job, learn something new and travel more. But with inflation affecting every facet of our lives, there’s one goal that moves to the No. 1 spot this year: save money.

Here are some ways to check a few of those plans off the to-do list without emptying your wallet:

To celebrate the recent opening of the Brightline station within walking distance across from Mizner Park, The Schmidt is offering two ways to save. Get free admission on the first Saturday of the month throughout 2023. Kids also can participate in the Museum Hunt to win prizes. If you can’t make it to Free Fun Saturdays, bring your Brightline ticket to the museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and get a $2 discount off regular admission ($12 adults, $8 students and seniors, free for members and children under 4). Call 561-395-6766 or visit BocaHistory.org.
