Tony Gould was named director, investment strategies-client solutions, at NISA Investment Advisors.
It is a new position, a spokesman said in an email. He reports to David G. Eichhorn, CEO and head of investment strategies.
Mr. Gould is responsible for product development and distribution initiatives to support the firm’s growth, the spokesman said.
He was a managing director at AQR Capital Management. AQR Capital spokesman Kevin Infante declined to comment.
NISA Investment Advisors provides liability-driven investing and derisking strategies for pension plans and had $334 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31. The AUM figure does not include $195 billion of notional value of derivatives managed by NISA.
